Student Evangelism Toward the 2nd Decade
Where have all the soul-winners gone? Maybe you’re asking, why did you say soul-winning? That’s a great question. Here’s the deal. No matter which term you feel comfortable with when it comes to telling others about the Gospel of Jesus Christ, when you get right down to it, every person that has ever lived or will live is pursued by God but they are also being hunted by the devil. Every time a person prays to receive Christ, a soul is won from eminent death and eternity without God.
Youth ministry has seen great seasons of seeing adolescents come to Jesus in the past. But as I sit in a room with dozens of youth pastors who live to see teenagers meet Jesus. Doesn’t that begin the process of the Great Commission? Go and make disciples. So I have a few questions for you youth pastors that will help shape how we train the next generation of youth pastor.
- How does your church support your vision and efforts for personal evangelism as well as student evangelism?
- What are the TOP 3 challenges or obstacles you face that hinders personal and/or student evangelism?
- What are the TOP 5 methods you have used to encourage personal and/or student evangelism?
- What have you done to equip volunteers and students in personal and/or student evangelism?

Troy, great thoughts…thanks for the reminder. The day of evangelism is not done.
Wish you were here Mike.
